However I enjoy poems when I am exposed to them and think they are a great creative medium in order to develop themes or capture feelings in words.

The poetry they read in those poetry slams where they have some greater message. Sometimes it's about weight or body shaming or sometimes it's about race. I love the way people use different words for different sounds and textures.
