I'm Nataly Rangel, and I am 16 years old. Some of my hobbies and interests are watching television shows, movies, and painting. I also enjoy hanging out with my friends in my free time. My favorite movies are Inception, Everything Everywhere All at Once, and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. One of my favorite shows is How I Met Your Mother, and Jersey Shore. Something I do for fun or enjoy is playing video games like Roblox or hanging out with my sister. Another thing I enjoy doing is line dancing. I recently got into this, but it's so fun to learn how to properly do it. My favorite types of food are steak and Italian food. One of the best restaurants in Miami is Cheesecake Factory. I feel like it has so many different options, and it has really good food. The coolest place to check out in Miami is probably the beaches. I love going to the beach, and it's so fun to go with friends.

My plans for the future are to go to the University of Miami and start studying nursing. I want to do this to learn the skills I need to become a nurse practitioner. When I grow up, I want to be a pediatric nurse practitioner, because I love working with children and I want to help them stay healthy. The school I would like to go to is the University of Miami, because it has a really good nursing program that could help prepare me to become a nurse practitioner. My dream job is to end up working at a hospital or clinic to be a pediatric nurse practitioner. This is where I could take care of children and help make a huge difference in their lives while helping myself build a future for myself and my family.

One thing I am proud of is passing both of my AP exams last year. I took two AP classes, which were AP Spanish Language and AP Human Geography. My accomplishments are staying focused, being able to take good notes, and finishing with all A's and B's last year. My strengths are that I will put in all the effort it takes to pass. Some of my weaknesses are that I can get easily distracted and I procrastinate, but this year I want to try my best and stay on top of all my assignments and classes. I think it's important to always improve, because I don't want to always stay the same; I would like to grow and keep growing into the person I want to be.

A moment where I felt on top of the world is going to theme parks. I love going to theme parks; I find them so fun and exciting. I love getting an adrenaline rush before I go on the ride, and that is one of my favorite feelings ever. In Islands of Adventure, there's this one ride called the Velicicoaster, and it never fails to excite me. The most exhilarating thing that has ever happened to me was most likely getting to be able to go in the front row of the ride. It was an experience I will never forget about.

One of my favorite assignments was in Ms. Escobar’s class last year. After reading our summer book, we had to create a layout of the setting. The cool part was that we could use any platform we wanted, so my friend and I chose Roblox. We built a house with all the details from the book, and it ended up being a really fun and creative project. Some projects I would find cool to do are like a social media project. Which is to build a fake Instagram feed from the perspective of a character we might read about in class.

The most embarrassing thing that’s ever happened to me was at Olive Garden. The waiter asked, “Soup or salad?” and I said, “Super salad?” He just stared at me while all my friends started dying of laughter . I felt so dumb, but it was pretty funny in the moment.
