The format for our dept will not look very different- students will have a portfolio that represents each area. The artifacts are a combo of student-chosen, and teacher-chosen pieces. Reflections will be included, as well as Parent-prompts to generate authentic conversation. The largest change to our Portfolio Share method, is that these portfolios will be passed home from the Special Area teachers, not the classroom teacher.

This will be a remote assignment.
- The progress report will accompany the portfolio and students will be asked to review it with parents.
- Parents and students will complete a reflection and will have a chance to offer feedback. This reflection will be returned to the teacher to ensure that the share took place.
