Throughout the weekend, I was sure to sample what the German food had to offer. On the first evening we went to a BierHaus - and tried a Schnitzel; as well as the local beer - Kölsch. The next evening we sampled a national favourite - Bratwust - yummy!

A trip to the Cinema
After watching the Football, we had some spare time, so we decided to go to the cinema and watch Johnny English (in German). At parts it was quite hard to understand what was going on, but Rowan Atkinson's features are recognisable in any language

Buying tickets
Upon landing into Cologne airport, my friends and I had to purchase train tickets from the station, as well as tram tickets throughout the stay. I ensured that I spoke to the ticket office; asking for tickets in German.

German music
On Sunday, my friends and I wanted to see what the German music has to offer. We decided shuffle Spotify's German charts 1-50 for an hour whilst chilling in the apartment. There was lots of German rap, as well as some more recognisable English songs / artists such as Dua Lipa.

Fußball - FC Koln vs Heidenheim
My friends and I went to watch the Football match between FC Koln and Heidenheim in the Bundesliga 2. The match finished as a draw: 1-1.
