I have been working at the Beasain High School since September. I studied philosophy in college and that's what I'm teaching my 15 year old students.
I love to read, play sports and travel. I would like to speak better English to get more out of my trips abroad.
In that sense, this project represents a challenge and a great opportunity for me, it will help me to resume the language. Regarding the content of the work, both, my students and I are enthusiastic. Hearing stories of inspiring women, known or unknown, from so many different countries is a unique opportunity to create a list of examples that our students can reflect on.

Hi, my name is Éva, I am 47 years old, I teach English. I love gardening, reading, taking long walks. Even though I have been teaching since my early 20s, I have only been teaching on the secondary level for three years, and I am still learning the differences between a secondary school where English is a compulsory subject and my previous jobs when I taught adults at corporations and university students, all of whom always chose to study English of their own will. I am constantly learning about this age group and the methodologies that work with them. I have learnt so far that they are open towards other countries and cultures, and I try to nurture this openness, I regard it a rare and precious trait.
The idea for this project came last year on international women's day while conversing with some students about the flowers they received or gave on that day. I realized that for many of them women's day is about the nag of going out to buy some flowers or the embarrassment of being presented with flowers by boys they might not know well. But they do find inspiration in women's lives, they do look up to some women. I thought it would be nice to focus on that this year, instead of the daffodils.
I am excited to work with you teachers, and with your students. I hope we'll have a fruitful (and fun :) ) project.

Hi all, I am Iera Zinkunegi and I am an English teacher. I believe that one of the challenges in our job is motivating students and that is why activities that go beyond the classroom can play an important role in education. This is my first experience through the eTwinning platform and and I feel a bit anxious about using it and asking my students to use it, but I am ready to give it a go. My collegue Zsófia and I will be working hand by hand on this project and I am sure it will be a great experience. We always try to do activities linked to the Women's Day and this year I hope students feel proud about participating in a meaningful and memorable project.
