Consent will need to be given via Arbor for students to have their photo taken.

These events are open to Year 10 & 11 students.

We encourage Year 11 students to visit at least two colleges in advance of applications being made.  Application deadlines vary, but many are by end of December this year, so please do your best to make time to attend open events at any college you are considering.

We warmly invite parents and carers of students in Years 9, 10 and 11 to attend our Careers Fair from 12:45 to 13:25hrs.

Please arrange to meet your child at Reception, where they will accompany you to the Sports Hall.

For safeguarding reasons, we kindly ask that all attendees confirm their attendance in advance by emailing gwickens@chaileyschool.org. Unfortunately, we may not be able to admit parents or carers who arrive without prior notice.

I have a deep passion for helping students explore the past in meaningful ways that illuminate its relevance to the present.

It has been a truly warm welcome into the Chailey community, and I’m excited for all that the coming year holds

I'm passionate about working with the students and help them feel secure, confident and cared for.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my children and fiancé and going on long walks in new places. 

I look forward for what's to come and my new life at Chailey.

They competed at the 80-85cm class and the 90-95cm class and won both quite convincingly. Having the wins in the championships means she is asked to compete with the NSEA England team at Addington in their nations cup.

An awesome end to the summer holidays.

Mills has also had a whirl wind this last 6 months, starting her British showjumping journey at the end of March and then realising she only had to the end of April to qualify for the 2nd rounds. Both Badger and chilli got all 4 of their double clears in in time, which qualified them for the 2nd rounds, in the first second rounds Badge qualified for the British Novice final and came 2nd and chilli won her 2nd round at parwood qualifying her for the final, just after a qualification came through for badger qualifying for the bronze league final.

In August the finals at stoneleigh, nothing had prepared us for the atmosphere and technical courses. In the bronze final, Badge had a pole in the first round, knocking them out. Unfortunately, chilli jumped an impressive clear in the spiller open. Then came the British Novice final chilli had the last 2 poles on massive course so impressed though only just over a year in work and got to the finals is an achievement on its own.

Then came Badgers round he went clear with a massive cheer from the crowd the atmosphere was electric, only 29 out of the 92 starting went clear, the jump off came and they just clipped a pole which robbed them of 4th place but ended a respectable 13th and still in the prize money.

After careful reflection and thorough consideration, the Chailey School Governing Board has decided that federation is not the right step for our school at this time. This decision was made following a detailed review of the consultation feedback (although limited in number of responses) and listening to the voices of all stakeholders.

All three schools share a strong commitment to delivering high-quality education and improving outcomes for all learners. While federation will not be pursued at this point in time, we remain fully committed to collaboration through existing networks, shared initiatives, and any future opportunities that align with our shared values.

Our priority continues to be providing the best possible learning experiences for our students.  We are grateful for the positive and constructive discussions that have taken place and appreciate the continued support of all our stakeholders.
