Sentence:

I chose this because it explains what Bod / Nobody Owens looks like, which is the first time the book has explains what he looks like.

Phrase:

He learned how to talk, and, once e had learned, he would pester the graveyard folk with questions.

This explained how he learnt how ot speak and used that ability to answer the unknowns.

This word explains Bods home and where he was raised, it is also the main word for the book.

Dilemma

In The Graveyard Book, there is another dilemma which is whether if Bod will go with the ghouls or not, even after Miss Lupescu said that the ghouls were bad. The reason why he goes with the ghouls is because Silas was leaving and Miss Lupescu was his new teacher. He was sad and felt like that he wasn't loved. When the ghouls came they said that there were good food and he will be loved by the ghouls.

Week 4 Reflection

In the story i am in chapter 7, and Bods old friend Scarlet who first appears in chapter 2 come back and meets up with Bod, that was the main surprise as I didn't think that Scarlet would appear again as she went to Scotland. Another major suprise was about the witch in chapter 6 as all of the other graveyard folks said that she was evil and bad as she was a witch, but she actually was nice and not evil unlike what the other graveyard folks said.

Elevator Story

When the elevator stopped there was a jolt, Martin flew up and hit the floor hard on his other foot, when the door opened Martin flew up and was very surprised to see his dad waiting for both of them. It was at that time Martin found out, that his dad knew her. When she slowly walked out of the door, and his dad told Martin that the fat lady was actually Martins aunt.

How does the book make you feel. Did it evoke any strong emotions or reactions?

The book the graveyard book made me feel kind of sad, as in the life of Bod he never went outside, his whole life has been in a graveyard another example is when Bod parted his ways when he grew up which also amde me kind of sad. I also felt confused as there were ghosts, alive especially in the maca bray dance where the ghosts are bale to dance with the living.

If you could ask teh author one question, what would it be.

The main question would be what the main message was of this book, as it sometimes is very confusing, there are also many many known themes, so I would really want to know what the actula theme is.
