         <description><![CDATA[<div>Teachers are currently using technology in the classroom to the best of their ability and knowledge. When looking at the types of technology that is being utilized in the classroom it is clear that the teachers aren’t using a wide range in their teaching practices. The four teachers that are included in the inventory are teachers with teaching experience from four years to twelve years. </div>]]></description>

         <title>Importance of Technology </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Leading in a culture of change means creating a culture of change (Schrum &amp;Levin 2015, p. 6). Being a leader in this culture and time where technology is constantly evolving and advancing, it’s extremely important that the leader be open minded and understanding to the new learning needs not only of the students but also the teachers. Teachers are constantly citing lack of access and lack of knowledge in using technology among other things, as reasons why they don’t use it (Schrum&amp; Levin, 2015, p. 44). <br><br>. It’s important to leverage the many technologies available to keep up with colleagues and or to connect to people who you can learn from (Schrum &amp; Levin, 2015, p. 49). As a leader it’s important to be aware of technology and how it can be improved within the school. </div>]]></description>
