1. There are 50 million people who belong to tribes that live in rain forests, today.
2. Many of these native tribes have been killed due to factors like: lack of food (the animals that they feed on die), they don't have shelter (due to factors like deforestation), weather (acid rain due to pollution, etc) etc. The governments who own the rainforests they live in fail to protect them.
3. In the Amazon rain forest, the people there have adapted so that the tallest that the indigenous people get is 5 feet so that they can easily move between to trees and such.
4. The people actually do make contact and use "modern" world items. They make many trips to town to buy goods like pots, pans, utensils, etc.
5. The indigenous children are EXTREMELY lucky. They don't have to go to school (so I bet Rodina would hate it there.) They don't have a school system there. Instead their parents teach them how to survive in the rain forests. They learn skills like hunting, fishing, etc

1 .There are around 50 million tribal people living in the worlds Rainforests.
2 .Today very few forest people live in traditional ways; most have been displaced by outside settlers or have been forced to give up their lifestyles by governments.
3 . They grow crops (like bananas, manioc, and rice)
4 . Use western goods (like metal pots, pans, and utensils).
5 .The tallest of these people, also called the Mbuti, rarely exceed 5 feet in height. Their small size enables them to move about the forest more efficiently than taller people.
