Death Of Osama Bin Laden

In the death of Osama Bin Laden, there were many crucial people involved in this. One of These people was Robert O'Neil, A member of the Navy Seal unit which he worked with to kill Bin Laden. Bin Laden was the creator of the organization Al Qaeda, Al Qaeda was a terrorist organization that sorted out the attack of September 11th. What led up to the death of Bin Laden, was that the U.S. Navy Seals were trying to kill Bin Laden for 10 years after he planned and was the founder of the 9/11 attack on New York City's World Trade Center. In these 10 years, the Pakistan officials claimed they did not know where their leaders hid. America reacted to the death of Bin Laden with joy as he took nearly 3,000 lives of Americans in the World Trade Center that day. This action justified and redefined Obama's leadership as he got his revenge for all of America. So overall Osama Bin Laden's death was a big hit on America and they rejoice as he took 2,996 lives from innocent Americans on 9/11.

Sandy Hook Shooting

The Sandy Hook Shooting was a tragic event that took place on December 14th, 2012. It was one of the most tragic days an American history. This tragedy had taken the lives of 20 Elementary School students, and 6 teachers. The person behind it all had been Adam Lanza a 20-year-old terrorist who killed his mom 3 days before this shooting. Some of the challenges revolving around this tragedy were surrounded by the families of those who lost family in this shooting. This was the start of solving a huge issue across America, As they applied countless new security throughout schools in America. This changed schools forever, So America may have responded correctly by adding stronger security. The number of shootings has been at an all-time high in 2022 and has increased since 2012.

The Obama era greatly impacted America today as he set the bar and standard for the future. Obama did this with his great presence in fixing issues in America such as his role in the death of Osama Bin Laden. Obama was in office at the time of this death and helped construct it and influence the military and Navy to complete this. This is very similar to the death of the ISIS leader, Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Qurayshi, who was killed by U.S. Special Operations in 2022. This death had a huge impact on Iraq, as the Bin Laden death did as well. This hurt them while they had an empty hole for that leader spot. This again showed how dominate America's Navy Seals and Military was. This is still relevant in 2024 because it shows how terrorists are still being taken down today. This was another terrorist who led the ISIS. America was able to take him down as Obama set the bar in 2011 by killing Bin Laden, America knew what had to be done to kill another leader of a terrorist group.

As School shooting numbers decreased since the Sandy Hook Shooting, The shooting numbers in general did not. Kids at young ages and young Adults of families are still going through tragedies commonly like this one as gun security is still not as strong as it can get. In the Sandy Hook shooting back in 2012, it was elementary school students were shot as they went to just another day of school but turned out to not be. This time it was at a birthday party in Akron Ohio where one 27-year-old father was killed as 27 were left injured. This is still an issue that Obama did not get to fully fix with Gun security and laws as there are still being shootings to this day. This is an ongoing issue that should be solved soon as people's lives are getting taken when going to a normal occasion. This keeps hurting America and is giving off a bad look to other countries and people in America giving them the thought that they can keep getting away with shootings like this. So overall during Obama's time in office, he helped slightly solve the issue of school shootings but shootings outside of schools are still happening to commonly.
