When people talk, sing, or play music, it sounds louder and deeper. The big organ makes strong and beautiful music that fills the whole church.

The cathedral also has many bells in the tower. When they ring, you can hear them across the city.

Because of this, the cathedral feels calm but also powerful.

In Istanbul's famous streets and train stations, you can always see musicians with different instruments. I recorded this from two musicians at Marmaray Train Station; one of the musicians played the kanun. The kanun (also spelled qanun, kanoon, or kanon) is a traditional stringed instrument widely considered the "queen" of Turkish art music. The other musician played the violin. I love this combination of Turkish-style and European-style music; it creates an amazing harmony.I couldn't upload the mp3 so I converted to video.

This historic hill, stretching from Anafartalar Street to Samanpazarı, bears traces of the Seljuk, Ottoman, and Republic periods.

Today, it is the heart of traditional crafts, textile shops, bridal shops, spice shops, and regional products. In Ankara's culture, it is one of the first places that comes to mind for those preparing for marriage, especially for dowry shopping. With its narrow streets and lively atmosphere, it is not only a commercial center but also a living museum that preserves the city's memory.
