         <description><![CDATA[<div>"Hum Do Hamare Do"&nbsp; translates to "We Two, Ours Two." The Indian Government&nbsp; launched this in 1952 in order to promote the Two-Child Norm. This term is used to describe a nuclear family with two parents and two children. It highlights the need of having a balanced family size in order to appropriately allocate resources and attention among family members.<br><br>In a larger sense, limits population increase and promote sustainable living, taking into account variables such as economic stability, education, and general well-being.<br><br><br><em>Hum do, hamare do?          <description><![CDATA[<div>Makki ka atta,  known as maize flour, is a winter staple in Northern India derived from corn. It contains all of the vitamins that your body demands on a daily basis. Makki flour includes vitamins A, C, K, and B-complex. Maize flour contains iron, phosphorus, zinc, and antioxidants.<br>&nbsp;<br><br><strong>​How to make Makki Ki Roti:<br></strong><br><em>Ingredients</em>- 2 cup maize flour (makki ka atta), 1/2 radish, and salt to taste.<br><br><em>Procedure</em>- Grate the radish. Set it aside.<br>After 5 minutes, strain the excess water from the radish.<br>Add maize flour and salt to taste.<br>Now, add the water in batches and knead the mixture&nbsp; to make a thick dough.<br>Pinch a tiny ball of dough, sprinkle with flour, and roll into a little chapati. <br>Place the roti on the hot tawa (pan) and sprinkle with water.<br>Cook from both sides.<br>Enjoy with any saag or ghee.<br><br><br><em>Benefits of eating Makki Ki roti in winters</em>.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Country focus- Syria<br>Syria's crisis is still one of the world's most serious humanitarian and security crises. The UN predicts that 14.6 million people in Syria require humanitarian aid as of June 2022, including nearly 6.5 million children. In 2020-21, Australia issued a number of refugee and humanitarian visas to Syrians (Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, n.d.). <br>There are three frequent health issues highlighted in the Australian refugee health practice guide that are likely to be present in refugees arriving from Syria.<br><br><br>1. <strong><em>Mental Health-</em></strong> Due to the extended conflict, displacement, and loss, Syrian refugees frequently endure tremendous trauma.</div><div><strong>Treatment</strong>- Various therapies could be done which involves working with a therapist to process traumatic memories, challenge negative thought patterns, and develop coping skills.<br><br>2.&nbsp; <strong><em>Low Vitamin D- </em></strong>Low vitamin D levels are also widespread in Syrian refugees (frequency 50-70%).<br><strong>Treatment- </strong>Those with ongoing risk factors may benefit from daily supplements during the cold months and sun baths during summers.<br><br>3. <strong><em>Schistosomiasis- </em></strong>Because of overcrowding and poor cleanliness in refugee camps, refugees may have been exposed to infectious diseases.</div><div><strong>Treatment- </strong>Praziquantel tablet is the preferred treatment for all types of schistosomiasis.          <description><![CDATA[<div>The most relevant competency requirement from 12.3 for me is underlining the importance of adherence to high ethical standards and dedication to essential principles in healthcare for delivering effective treatment to those from migrant and refugee backgrounds.&nbsp;<br>I've learnt that healthcare practitioners should take into account the individual's specific needs, preferences, and circumstances, as well as the necessity of incorporating the family or support system in the care process, if suitable.&nbsp;<br>Having learned, I now feel that evidence-based procedures should be followed, professional competence be maintained, and continually review and improve the quality of treatment, that I will offer to my patients.<br>I will also ensure during my practice that I treat every individual with dignity, respect, and empathy.
