2) It is important to stay open-minded. It is human to think and act the same way you're comfortable with but its good to be open to new ideas.
3) Discomfort and disagreeing is part of a conversation to understanding. Social Justice Scholarship is not opinion-based. I think this is an important concept because it can be misconstrued, and I would hope I never leave that sort of impression.
2. "Just because you are right, does not mean I am wrong." I loved this because it is totally true. We can just have multiple different perspectives. It reminds me of To Kill a Mockingbird, and the concept of not knowing until walking in the other person's shoes.
3. Everything we take in is based off of who we are.
