The reliability of the parent or caregiver in the home to help facilitate learning was the most difficult for teachers equity wise. Some students had maximum support while others had none. Expectations were also not as well enforced at home.

    -Students who do not have an involved adult at home to supervise them, support them, or hold them accountable during the day have fared worse
    -Online/virtual/remote learning is harder for younger students

    -Having a parent who is not knowledgeable about technology 
    -For families who are struggling to meet basic needs like food and housing, the stress within the household impacts student learning and impacts a parent's ability to be present and engaged in their child's learning
    -Language barriers
    -Online/remote/virtual learning just does not work for some students; huge variation in student engagement online
