         <description><![CDATA[<div>This study is a small part of my PhD project. In this brief study, I explore the learning environment of English medium students of Telangana state with respect to English language learning with a special focus on parental involvement. For this small study, I have chosen a data sample of 32 parents. The findings of this study indicate that parental involvement in students' learning is impacted by factors including teachers' and schools' collaborative efforts, educational qualifications of the parents, their economic situations and mainly accessibility of information.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><br></div><ul><li>Parental involvement usually refers to the practices of parents, guardians, and caregivers who support their school-aged children in learning. There are many reasons why parents may not be actively involved with their children’s education.&nbsp;</li></ul><div><br></div><ul><li>Parents, having a high workload or they don’t live in the same house. Some take a more “hand-off” approach as they want the school to handle more academic matters, so having a low parental involvement has a direct impact on student performance because they do not have a support network outside of the formal learning environment.&nbsp;</li></ul><div><br></div><ul><li>Some parents are not&nbsp; aware of the Digital Knowledge to monitor their kids' classes particularly during Covid Pandemic online schedule for the classes. Poverty is another cause&nbsp; by which they are unable to afford the digital devices and data charges monthly to make their kids learn online and having limited family resources.</li></ul><div><br></div><ul><li>During the pandemic it is a dire need to study how online and offline&nbsp; education shows impact on students' learning and their cooperation and coordination from the parents at their home.&nbsp;</li></ul><div><br></div><ul><li>Finally I want to study the role of parents in the English learning of their children during COVID-19 pandemic in view of&nbsp; Private Vs Government management Schools of Rural Vs Urban areas.&nbsp;</li></ul><div><br></div><ul><li>I am presenting a Small part of my Ph.D study i.e&nbsp; "A study of parents' of secondary school ESL learners” is carried out with a sample to analyze their responses on their role in&nbsp; English learning of their children during COVID-19 pandemic.<br><br></li></ul><div><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li>A Bilingual(Telugu and English) Questionnaires are prepared and&nbsp; administered in hardcopies&nbsp; to the 16 Parents of 4 Govt Schools from 2 Urban Area of Hanamkond&nbsp; and 2 Rural area of Jayashankar Bhupalpally Districts where the schools having more than 200 students.</li></ul><div><br></div><ul><li>&nbsp;16 Parents of 4 Private schools from 2 Urban Area of 1 Hanamkonda, 1 Warangal District&nbsp; and&nbsp; 2 Rural area of 1 Jayashankar Bhupalpally,1 Mulugu Districts where the schools also having more than 200 students.</li></ul><div><br></div><ul><li>the consent of the parents has been taken&nbsp; to participate in the study only after explanation of the objectives of the study and confidentiality of their information.&nbsp;</li></ul><div><br></div><ul><li>Where the&nbsp; parents are found illiterate, a scribe has been assigned to explain the questions and&nbsp; record their answers in the questionnaire.</li></ul><div><br></div><ul><li>The responses have been entered in Google Questionnaire which is prepared to extract the auto summary charts,pie diagrams to analyse the question wise data.&nbsp;<br><br></li></ul><div><br></div>]]></description>
