John Hancock was at the meeting right before the Boston Tea Party where he told the crowd "Let every man do what is right in his own eyes." He did not participate in the Boston Tea Party but he approved of it. He is also well known for his big, fancy signature on the Declaration of Independence. &nbsp;</div>]]></description>

This made the British East India Company a monopoly. The Tea Act eventually lead to the Boston Tea Party where colonists boarded ships dressed up as Native Americans and threw all the tea overboard.</div>]]></description>

But the Americans killed 200 British and wounded 800. On the other hand the British killed 100 Americans and wounded only 300 Americans so in total lots more British men died.</div>]]></description>
