4. The ups and down of travelling to foreign countries

Travelling is the kind of activity, which almost all the people love. For someone it is an opportunity to relax and abstract from everyday busy life. For others it is interesting to observe the way people of other cultures and mentality live. Some people consider it to be the best way to have fun and always try to visit as many clubs, pubs, restaurants and cafes as possible for their wallets and time limits. So here are some advantage and disadvantage of travelling to foreign country.

Firstly, Traveling gives us the opportunity to disconnect from our regular life. You get to forget your problems or issues for a few weeks, it can also help you figure things out that you would not have understood without the distance traveling can give you. We all have crazy schedules, work and a family to take care of, going away alone or with some friends can give you distance and perhaps even make you realize how important these people are for. Like the saying says: we never know what we have until we lose it.

Traveling increases our knowledge and widens our perspective. To view new customs, different ways of living is fantastic for the mind. It gives us a new perspective about life and especially our life, it can help us change some of our habits or even create new ones. When I travel I usually make it a point to try new food, some cultures don’t have fries in their diet and they are all skinny, others use spices to give taste and not oils or fats. Discovering different values and ways to get by in life is really interesting. You also need to visit exotic new places and discover what this wonderful world has to offer.

When traveling with friends or family it creates memories for a lifetime. These memories will create a bond that nothing can erase no matter what happens with the friendship or relationship. It can also give a new perspective on the relationship and cement the bond forever. It also gives nice stories to tell people afterwards, you can create photo albums about your trips and when you feel nostalgic you can take an hour of your life and experience the trips again by looking at your pictures.

Apart from all this fun and interesting thing about travelling there is also disadvantage of travelling to foreign country.
Travel abroad is expensive, so that you had to spend a lot of money.

Secondly there are a different culture, a different language and different foods. So you need to prepare your self with some kind of things for example the languages, the foods and even your mind. Recognize that some of what you will experience overseas is just part of the intercultural adjustment cycle (sometimes called “culture shock”).

2. Penang is our food heaven.

Penang is a state located in malaysia country. Penang is located in northern ireland. there are many places that are in Penang. Therefore, it is definitely a lot of food in Penang and Penang can be a food paradise in Malaysia.

Among the most popular dishes in Penang is Laksa Penang. At first I thought laksa across Malaysia varied only slightly, it turns out Penang is known for its own form of laksa – the Assam Laksa, as opposed to the Curry Laksa found in the rest of Malaysia. Assam laksa consists of noodles with shredded mackerel fish in a mackerel soup base. This definitely gives it a fishy taste, while the tamarind adds the sourness. Finely sliced vegetables and other garnishes add splashes of both colour and flavour. Cucumbers, onions, red chilies, even pineapple pieces. A side of sweet shrimp paste completes the bowl, that was actually served in the soup spoon. Though I think we both prefer Curry Laksa, enjoyed the bursts of bold flavours eating Penang’s Assam Laksa.

Next, the food is popular in Penang Char Kway Teow. This has to be the most famous Penang food export of all time. Char Kway Teow consists of flat rice noodles stir-fried with ingredients such as eggs, prawns, bean sprouts and chives. It doesn’t have a very distinctive flavour the way padthai does, for example, but it’s meant to have a bit of a charred, burnt taste. Kafe Heng Huat is the most famous Char Kway Teow stall. The lady cooking is almost as famous as the food itself – she wears a beret and is known for her constantly grumpy disposition. It was more expensive than the average Char Kway Teow dish elsewhere in George Town, but such is the price of a brand. Char Kway Teow is such an institution in Penang that it’s a must-try.

For dessert or just a snack to cool down, cendol was wildly popular. You must went to the famous Penang Road Famous Teochew Chendul. Shaved ice, with coconut milk poured on top, along with green jelly noodles, palm sugar, and even red beans, grass jelly, etc. piled high in a bowl. In many ways this was yet another version of the desserts we have seen throughout Asia.

In conclusion, more food is very popular in Penang that I have not listed as Nasi Kandar, Mee Rojak and more. Therefore, do not say it is wrong Penang state into a food paradise for tourists.
