         <description><![CDATA[<div>the type of the fabric <br>the amount of time the fabric was exposure to <br>the chemical ratios. <br>We used many different fabrics such as polyester and cotton. We found that cotton worked best. Polyester did not work as the chemicals will not sink in or stick to the fibers of the fabric. <br>On the other hand, cotton allows the chemicals to sink and it is more absorbent, it produces vibrant outcomes.<br><br>We now know to use the material to produce the best outcomes for Cyanotypes. <br><br>Also, we could have exposed the fabric to light for longer. We used the sun and it was quite cloudy that day. That may have disrupted the results of our Cyanotypes. <br>We maybe should have used UV light. <br><br>Also we did not use glass that allowed UV light to come through. This may have effected the outcome too<br><br><br> </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>When doing the cyanotypes you should meausure out the solutions correctly<br><br>You should also paint on the fabrics in the dark and brush the solution evenly.&nbsp;<br><br>Use cotton fabrics as this is more absorbent and you will achieve better outcomes.&nbsp;<br><br>Make sure you expose the fabric for longer periods of time. Maybe half an hour?&nbsp;<br><br>Use glass that allows UV light to come through.<br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Preparing the solutions: <br><br><br>1) For solution A mix 10g of pottasium ferricyanide with 100ml of water. <br><br>2) For solution B, mix 25g ferric ammonium citrate with 100ml of distilled water. <br><br>3) store each solution in the dark room <br><br>4) combined solutions A and B in the darkroom and mix equally. Resulting in a cyanotype solution. This solution is light sensitive and will be an intense yellow colour. <br><br>5) Put the fabric onto a table and paint the soluion onto the fabric and use vertical brush strokes then horizontal. Then leave it to dry in the dark room (with no light) <br><br>Exposure: <br>6) You then expose the fabric to the sun or UV light. I suggest UV light as the sun can be temperamental. I suggest exposing It for about 20/25 minutes or longer.<br><br>7) Once the fabric has been exposed remove it from the contact printing frame. Once you have done this wash the fabric under water this is developing it.<br><br>8) Once you have done this wash the fabric under running water for about 15-25 minutes and hang to dry.<br><br><br></div>]]></description>
