As you read chapters 4 in An Indigenous Peoples' History, add textual evidence and information about the dates mentioned in the chapters. Don't worry about overly general dates-for example-"from the early 1600s to the late 1700s. . . "  Include specific information about the event/people mentioned in the date and include the impact the event/person had on Indigenous peoples. Be specific with nation names when possible.
See my example for 1620. You may also leave personal thoughts, wonderings, or questions with your entries.  Also feel free to include pictures or original drawings (if you're so inspired) to enhance the visual component of the timeline.

The Pequots were blamed for killing Oldham a British citizen. A group of soldiers led by John Endecott  were sent to avenge te death of Oldham. There were few casualties but the soldiers burned the village. Enraged by this attack the Pequots attacked Fort Saybrook. The colonial government sent John Mason with a group of soldiers to attack two forts the Pequots were living in and killed most of them. Even after slaughtering so many Pequots the British stilled feared retaliation from the surviving Pequots.

The British used rangers(specially trained fighters)to kill indigenous people. This was also done in New England. “In the French and Indian war, the British found the Cherokee Nation was an extremely powerful ally to the French.” Pg 75

The Cherokee allied them selves with the French and fought against the British. The British would go into towns set them ablaze and then kill any one who tried to flee. The Cherokee attack forts and stoped the burning of villages. The Cherokee were overwhelmed by the British and they stormed there capital of Etchoe. By the end of the campaign five thousand Cherokee refugees remained and the number of dead remained uncounted. When the French ceded the land they claimed eats of the Mississippi River the British believe that also included Cherokee land. The British learned that if there forces burned crops and houses as well as killing the people of the villages it would cause more damage to the indigenous nation. The attackers would set fire to a town and kill the people fleeing and burning anyone else alive. This line set a clear boundary for the British colonies. Even though the line was a direct order from the King some settlers were upset. Settlers who wanted to move there and land speculators who wanted to make money off of the land. The governor of Virginia John Murray sided with British settlers. The orders from Gorge Washington were to destroy their settlements. Three armies were sent to launch an attack against the Haudenosaunee. The armies were told to “burn and loot Indigenous villages.” The Pennsylvania assembly put out a bounty on scalps of Haudenosaunee with out regard to sex or age. The force consisted of Continental army soldiers, rangers, and commercial scalp hunters.
