WW1 was ended on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month and the armistice was applied on the 28th of July, the same day Arch duke Franz Ferdinand was killed.</p><p>2). Many of the letters coming back from the war were censored and changed to stop the public from finding out what was actually happening during WW1.</p><p>3). The first prototype of the tank was created in 1915 by Lancelot de mole and William Triton, this revolutionized warfare during WW1 and many years to come.  </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>A number of laws were passed to improve women's standing after ww1. Women had increased rights over property and children within marriage, and divorce. They were also receiving more education and could be involved in local politics.</p><p><br/></p><p>Women were eager to help when World War I broke out, but their attempts to take on many traditional male roles were mostly blocked.</p><p>Their presence in the workforce did grow, but mainly in fields they already worked in, like clothing, food and printing.</p>]]></description>

The youngest was a boy named Sidney Lewis who was just 12 years old but lied about his age to join.</strong></p><p><br/></p><p><strong>3)Blood banks were developed during World War I.&nbsp;It was during WW1 that the routine use of blood transfusion was used to treat wounded soldiers. Blood was transferred directly from one person to another. In 1917, a US Army doctor by the name of Captain Oswald Johnson established the first blood bank on the Western Front.</strong></p>]]></description>
