FI - when the first bell rings in the morning at the same time and people go to their first hour
VI - when your mom checks to see if your room is clean at random times of the week. so, you work to keep your room clean all of the time.
FR- Going to a restaurant to get a hole punched in your card over and over till you reach the amount when you can get a free milkshake or some kind of reward. This would make you want to go to the restaurant more often.
VR- When you mow the lawn a couple times a week and your parents don't pay you each time, they pay you randomly. This enforces you to mow the lawn when you're supposed to, because you're hoping for a reward.

FI: Ex - There is a set amount of time between classes (5 min) and there is negative reinforcement for being late such as tardies or a detention. This affects behaviour when people know they don't need the full amount of time to get to class and they become sort of lazy about it. They take more time to get there or they do other things such as talking to friends.

VI: Ex - The Superman ride at Six Flags changes how long they wait to drop the ride, this makes people anxious and if they enjoy the suspense they'll keep coming back to ride the ride.

RS: Ex - In elementary school we would make a class goal and spell it out on the board and every time the class a compliment from another teacher they we would get a letter and once the goal was spelled out we would get it. If we behaved badly we would get a letter taken off. This made the class want to act properly in the halls and follow the rules.

VR: Ex - Scratch off tickets. You could win after buying one or after buying seven. This makes you wanna keep buying till you win.
