Autism symptoms can appear for some infants within the first year of life Though the initial symptoms of autism include limited effective communication, a lack of responsiveness to their call, or even a loss of interest in caretakers, many children may grow normally for the first few months and years of their lives, only to become introverted, hostile, or forget their acquired language abilities.

Also, some specific strategies that can be used in the classroom, such as supporting shifts and procedures, The majority of autistic children are receptive to sudden shifts in pattern and learn best in those circumstances. Thus, it is best to keep to a predictable pattern when instructing autistic children, wherever this is possible. Each youngster will be aware of what will happen next, allowing them to anticipate it and get ready. The next strategy is to apply image cues. Most autistic kids are primarily visual, which means they absorb information better when it is presented visually rather than just orally or in another way. Children with autism may benefit from using visual clues to help them learn, remember, and communicate. Third strategy, is to use sensory tools, Everybody has distinct preferences for sensory input, and autistic children are no exception. The occupational therapist will help with the assessment of these demands and the use of techniques for children with autism who have unique sensory requirements.

Furthermore, My son Jacob is 8 years old and was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder at the age of two, where signs are more noticeable for him it was speech delay. He is currently taking speech and language therapy to improve his verbal and social communication skills when interacting with others and within the classroom. In Addition, Every single day comes with its own difficulties some are harder than others, as the parent of an autistic child, I need to make sure to maintain the same daily routine for him to not stress out and to remain calm all through out the day. Also, when interacting with him, I tend to not accord with him or understand him sometimes and will become uneasy and throw a small tantrum. Those are the main struggles I will face while parenting Jacob, just hoping for the best each day. Lastly, I always remember Jacob with this quote " Autism doesn't define me" , makes me see how positive and strong he is towards his condition. No disability can define who you are or what you can accomplish. In other words, you are valuable and can achieve all those goals or dreams towards being successful in life, there is a bright future ahead for everyone just as my son.

Through its own early intervention services, Centro de Ninos y Padres, which was established in 1974, does indeed have a rich history of assisting households in securing a better tomorrow for their youngsters. Moreover, approximately 1,500 households in Southern California and the nearby areas have received assistance from Centro de Ninos y Padres over the course of our more than thirty-year existence. They have also given such communities and their youngsters the guidance, assistance, and treatment they need to fully benefit from the opportunity of learning. Such services enhance the family's satisfaction while advancing the children's intellectual growth. Every kid and parent gets a customized agenda that takes into account their unique requirements. Operating in a family-centered, multidisciplinary team environment where families are acknowledged as the primary specialists and outcomes are tracked helps to attain these aims. Lastly, this remarkable institute offers no-cost services to all of the families, which I am truly thankful for. For them, the thing that matters is the well-being of these children and their families and leading them to the path of success with a bright future. At this moment I tend to not suffer with financial burdens based on his young age the state provides me with low to no cost services for my child. Next, it was my child's school counselor that recommended this agency, due to the great reviews by parents and of the amazing resources they offer to families. Finally, I would like to share how I love my Jacob in everything that he is, autism will never define that for me. Yes, i will not lie some days I feel that i will not make it but for the love I have for him and God's strength/wisdom I will make it through. I will always make it through for my son.
