NAME :</strong><br>The "Confucius" is a Latinization of the Mandarin Chinese title <em>Kǒng Fūzǐ</em> (孔夫子) (in Vietnamese: Khổng Phu Tử), meaning "Master Kong".<br><strong>2. ORIGIN :</strong><br> It is thought that Confucius was born on September 28, 551 BCE, in Zou (in Vietnamese: Lỗ), (in modern Shandong province-Sơn Đông in Vietnamese).</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>1. EARLY LIFE : </strong><br>His father (Kong He (孔紇) also known as Shuliang He (叔梁紇), in Vietnamese Thúc Lương Ngột) died when he was 3 years old. Confucius was educated at schools for commoners, where he studied and learned the Six Arts (Rites, Music, Archery, Chariotry, Calligraphy, Mathematics (in Vietnamese: lễ, nhạc, xạ, ngự, thư, số). <br><strong>2. ADULT :</strong><br>* At age 19 he married Qiguan (亓官) (in Vietnamese Thị Quan), and a year later the couple had their first child, their son Kong Li (孔鯉) ( Khổng Lí in Vietnamese). Qiguan and Confucius later had two daughters together, one of whom is thought to have died as a child.<br>* Confucius didn't start out as a wise teacher, he worked a number of normal jobs first. After, Confucius came to work for the government.<br><strong>3. LATER LIFE : </strong><br>Confucius quit his government job at the age of 51. He was disappointed that the leaders were not following his teachings. He then traveled throughout China for many years teaching his philosophy.<br><strong>4. RETURN HOME AND DEATH:<br>*</strong>&nbsp; According to the <em>Zou Zhuan (in Vietnamese Tả truyện)</em>, Confucius returned home to his native Lu (Lỗ in Vietnamese) when he was 68.<br>* Burdened by the loss of both his son and his favorite disciples, he died at the age of 71 or 72 from natural causes.</div>]]></description>
