i think the future of education looks very technological. I feel as though technology in education will become very useful for children but also can be overused which can cause negative effects.

ideally, a space where children can express themselves and their feelings and be supported in building the strategies to do so

If more people advocate for change, I think that in the future there could be change in what is taught in school. Individuality, leadership, life skills (banking, taxes, credit cards, laws, computer safety) can be things that are taught starting in earlier years so when the time comes, they don’t feel unprepared.

i also think as a system we need to improve the process of forming and making IPPs more accessible, providing the adaptations and accommodations children need to succeed

I think the future of education is more centred around childrens individuality and unique needs- I think that the ministry of education could decrease class sizes and provide more support for children with specialized needs.

I think since much of school is focused on meeting curriculum and outcomes, then curriculum needs to change to make personal and holistic growth and learning a part of the curriculum so it is not overlooked and prioritized just as much, if not more than academic learning
