Hello! I am Shammah Andrea Basadre, either called Shammah or Shaz (depends on which you prefer) My friends usually describe me as someone optimistic and outgoing to which I cannot really pinpoint why.

Currently, I do not have much hobbies except playing online games in my free time and scrolling through social media. But, even with these things I do often, I always make sure that I prioritize my academics.

My all time favorite show would be Miraculous Ladybug! Some may find it childish and ridiculous but the storyline of this series is amazing and although it may be a cartoon kids usually watch, they actually teach and talk about some issues/situations we are able to experience in real life

I don't watch much anime but Haikyuu is definitely a favorite. I was not interested just because of the characters, but also because in a way, I used to relate to the sport since I was part of the varsity team years back

This show brings me so much comfort, it always lightens up my mood and thanks to this, I was able to spend time and bond with my family

Why do I like these media?

All of the things I mentioned throughout this whole collage are the different forms of media. Media can come in many forms such as photos, songs, and shows. So, why do I like these media? First and foremost, it is because they give me entertainment. It lifts my mood especially when I use social media as a form of communication.

Not only that, through media, we can get various types of information. This is where we learn about new issues and other events occurring in our community.

Although there may be other reasons as to why I enjoy media, these are the ones I will highlight because these are the main reasons as to why I'm so invested in media in the first place

How are these media influencing or affecting me?

These media influence and affect me both in a positive and negative way. This is because since most of my time is being spent on going online, scrolling through different feeds, playing games, it shows that I'm not being as productive as I aim to be and although I still do my work, sometimes, spending just a bit more time on studies would be beneficial for me because at least I'd be able to really go through my lecture notes and advance read.

As for the positive side, because of media, I am more updated with the issues the society is facing right now and because of these various forms, I am able to gather important information about anything. I am also able to have communication with those people around me which helps me create stronger and deeper connections with them.
