There is a lot more aspects to it besides having to work on a farm everyday. An example of this is how they are treated by white people or how they could never have a sense of security when near white people. I believe that slaves would be happy to be able to escape but they have to figure out how to make a life for themselves without having any education or social skills.

I'm treated equalling, I have clothes, I have a family, I have a name, and that is already way more than a slave ever had. It would be extremely hard to escape as a slave using the Underground Railroad. i would feel so good about myself if i were to escape and be able to live in freedom knowing i used to be slave.
