I totally disagree with you. WIld animals can reproduce. It's the fact of how many animals you eat per time. Plants also regrow naturally without having to crop. Agriculture changed humans dramatically. Jared Diamond says that, " With the adoption of agriculture, height crashed, and by by 3000 b.c had reached a low of only 5'3" for men, 5' for women." Agriculture was not beneficial at all. DONE

Agriculture has allowed humans to expand their population, settle down permanently, and humans to diverse and specialize in other work areas.

Do you have any evidence that backs up that people tend to live shorter lives? Humans in agriculture could not diverse more because they spent almost all day tending crops. HUntering and gathering provides more protein than agriculture. DONE

It seems that I read an outdated article. So I apologize it seems they lived for about 60 years of age instead of say 33. But with humans being more diverse of course you would have the people planting crops. But I am sure that there were some people who would say explore the world or interact with others. Agriculture did give you protein it may have depended on what you were growing or if you were herding. DONE

I have something going back to what you said. You said that agriculture could give more food to humans (which I agree) but with more food for people, it causes obesity and other problems. Jared Diamond said, "with agriculture came the gross social and sexual inequality, the disease and despotism" also hunting animals gave people clothing like fur. DONE

Could you define "other problems?" With the growth of the amount of there was a (still is) more definitive and steady food source which led to less hunger. Yes there may have been people who were obese, there usually is at least a few choice people who are as such, and as well as a rise in sexual inequality (I definitely agree). As for that situation I feel it was more exposed, I guess. DONE

Other problems include heart problems. Agriculture isn't good for everyone because of how well soil was and temperature was. Agriculture also produced Tobaco which effected the health of people. Diamon said, "the farmers gained cheap calories at the cost of poor nutrients." Agriculture was terrible.

Neolithic
Agriculture was not terrible. Agriculture paved the way for so many new inventions, cities, and schools. In paleolithic times they were always moving and they never settled down. They never had towns or cities because as soon as the food supply ran out they had to pick up and move. Also obesity didn't come until later with all the processed food. The amount of food produced with farming was things like vegetables and allowed for less people to go starving. They could also stockpile the food for later in the winter when there wasn't much to eat which couldn't be done before because there wasn't enough to save.
Done

How long would their picked food last before it rotted away and they would be left to starve? Done
