3 tellers per session

8 sessions in 2 days of F2F at the Library on a weekend from 1pm to 5pm - 24 slots                                                        

5 sessions for the KidRead - 15 slots

3 sessions for Special needs each for 45 min - 9 slots

1 session at Punggol Library - 3 slots

2 adult sessions - 12 slots

5 sessions on Zoom - 15 slots

Total slots = 78 slots

1)To have a frame of 398.2 festival to be made for photo taking

2) To have 2 days f2f rather than only one day 9^th and 10^th November 2024

3) Zoom sessions for a week 

4) Hire someone to do advertising to all preschools

5) Kids Read to be done in October in Preschools

6) To have a cluster of preschools in various libraries in different areas (Like North, South, East  

and West) so that the school children can see the storytellers in person

7)Special Needs sessions to be conducted in October

8) To have an inclusive session with kids who are deaf and mute and hire a sign language translator

9) To have a Malay storytelling session, a workshop to train Malay Tellers if possible in Tandem. The workshop to be conducted by Jumaini if possible

10) Continue with the 2 adult storytelling sessions. With one being at the NLB and one at a cultural location. (Mindy will look into finding the location)

 11) To have a Lucky Draw amongst preschools who register for the zoom session and the award would be a Visit from the Storytellers who will do a Live session for their school (1/2hr )

12) Reveal the SAS Story book and the sale of the book at a Nominal amount of $10.

13) Have a Gala Closing Ceremony of the Storytelling Event on 9^th and 10^th November 2024 at the Central Library where the Tellers take the final Bow until next year.

14) Have a workshop for the volunteers helping with the mic during the F2F sessions

15) To hire a photographer for the closing Ceremony and the adult session at the cultural location.

16) For the GCC depending on the venue NLP confirms, we need to look into the size of audience we will get and accordingly need  to do a workshop on tips for tellers on how to interact with different size audiences.

17) Look into having a warm up - dance or activity before starting to tell the stories at the GCC.

18) During the special needs sessions the teachers should be briefed that if a child is throwing a tantrum he/she should be taken out of the room to calm down. 

19)At the F2F weekend the biggest room at the library should be allocated for the youngest age group listeners.

20)Need to focus more on marketing.

Tasks, some need to be simultaneous:

*Write up specs for story submission. Decide on audience, add activities??

*Decide if any token payment to be made to authors, illustrator, editor.

*Send out invitation to members w deadline - 1 month.

*Look for illustrators amongst members eg Millie.

*Select 10.

*Prepare letter of acceptance/ rejection + send

*Ask for bio n photo of 10 selected.

*Need an editor to edit and check w authors. Deadline

* Illustrator deadline

* publishing- 1 person to find out abt all options.
