It was located in Iraq  and it was started when Turkey first declared their borders. The Kurdish people wanted their own land and that is when the Iraqi government came in and said no. During the Kurdish Genocide between 50 to 180 thousand were killed. During this the U.S. was launching Space Shuttle Challenger. This ship suddenly exploded after reaching the edge of Earth atmosphere.
