They end up living with him and he takes their boxcar and puts it in his backyard for them to play in.

The Rainbow fish is the most beautiful one in the ocean. When the fish ask to have some of his pretty scales he does not share them, and none of the fish wanted to be around him. He asked for advice from an octopus who told him that he must share his beauty with he other fish. He then gave each fish a scale so that they can all be shiny like him and be friends.

Finally the mouse gets tired and takes a nap and asks for another cookie.

This book is really good for showing students that every action has a consequence. It shows sequencing of events and how requests can come in chains. It is good for students to read a book like this because it shows them that actions have consequences.

Ganesha who is a Hindu god with an elephant head. He loved to eat sweets and one day him and Mr. Mouse found a jumbo laddoo that Mr. Mouse advised him not to eat. However, he did eat it and ended up braking his tusk. He tried to fix it with string, glue, and just holding it, but nothing worked to fix his tusk. He threw his tusk out of frustration and hit the poet Vyasa with it who helped him to see his broken tusk can be used as a writing tool. He then wrote a great piece of literature with his tusk.

This book seems to be a very good one for young children because it exposes them to a new world they may not know about.

My drawing represents the story because it has the two sides of Bok Chitto. On the one side there is slavery, fear, loss of loved ones, and on the other side there is the promised land, home, and freedom. On the river I wrote friendship and safety because the river represents Martha Tom and Little Mo and their friendship as they went back and forth from the two sides often.

I think that this visual activity would be very effective for students not only for summarizing their reading but also internalizing and analyzing the story.

I thought this story was a really exciting and interesting fantasy book. I thought the themes of family and hope were displayed in a great way in this story. The main character Luna goes through many difficult times but she is able to persevere and ultimately save her family. I think this is a very good book especially for people who like fantasy.

Then Luna grows up to have magic powers and she must learn to control them. When she realizes there is a danger to her world she must use her powers to defeat Sister Ignatia. She is then turned into the protector of the Protectorate. My work reflects her journey because there are many twists and turns she must go through to reach her goal and save her world.

I think this book would be very beneficial for students to read because it has a lot of perseverance of the main character and it shows the importance of family. I think the activity of the journey maps helps students to have a deeper understanding of the whole story and the characters journey.

This book is about a pig named Wilber that was saved by a young girl named Fern. However, he was sold to another farm where he made an unlikely friend. Her name was Charlotte and she was a spider. Charlotte saved Wilber from slaughter by writing things about him in her web above his pen. He is shown off at the county fair with Charlottes writings. At the end of the story Charlotte lays her eggs and passes away, leaver her spider family with Wilber on the farm.

This is an amazing story for young students because it shows that nature of life and death in a way that is wholesome and understandable for them.

This is about a middle school girl named Suzy. Franny and Suzy had been best friends all of school, but got separated because Franny started to hang out will cooler people. During the summer before they made up, Franny passed away in the ocean. Suzy then decides that she died because of jelly fish, and tried to learn more about them and the scientists that study them.

At the behavior center the boys are treated very poorly and forced to dig holes in the Texas heat. One day the youngest boy Zero runs away and Stanley steals the warden's truck to find him. Stanley then stands up to the warden and the curse is lifted off of his family and he gets to go home.
