While I second that technology can work as a catalyst to facilitate learning and enhance learning outcomes, it should be the only medium of teaching. Technology cannot replace teachers. Human connection is required in the process of learning, thus technology should only be used as a tool. Immediate and prompt feedback with the help of technology is providing benefits as children see their successes and failures as a consequence, they are motivated. Also, feedback from technology is visually appealing with sound effects, that makes small achievements like celebrations. This generates a sense o victory.

I am sure that at the beginning the student has to get used to different types of AT because it is something completely new. As teachers we might make the mistake of not seeing progress right away and change the AT to a different method and that could just confuse the student instead of helping them. Since technology is available for everyone, no matter their age now-a-days, it only seems natural to incorporate technology into the classroom and students learning. A lot of students require that immediate feedback, and when they are in a classroom with 25 other students and only 1 teacher, this is an exceptional tool for them to have.
