The invention that we want to create for an ideal school would be lockers that will open with your fingerprint. By having lockers that will open with your fingerprints, students will spend less time at their lockers. With only a two minute transition time, opening a regular combination lock is very time consuming. By having a locker that opens with just your fingerprint, students will be able to get to class faster and spend less time in the hallway. Also, many students do not even lock their lock just because of how long it takes to open it at our locker time. Essentially, students would like more dining options at breakfast and lunch. Lunch will run the same but there will be more variety to choose from. How will it change lives? Some people have food allergies and or/religious restrictions on food. Some students sit without eating because they don't like the day's lunch and don't have money for the store. With more food choices now, in the future students may be exposed to healthy foods to cook in future. More choices would make students happy. We will create an emotional support app that will be used to get in touch with a trusted adult in a students time of need. This can be anonymous or students can attach their name to their message. Students will be able to choose the trusted school faculty member their message gets sent to and the trusted adult with send them an answer back. It is our hope that with this invention students will communicate their emotions and get information on sensitive subjects that they are dealing with.
