Since I was a kid, I always loved to take care of animals especially dogs and these are my pets, Moonlight and Starlight. We actually have 7 dogs in our home but I don't have a pic of them with me so I picked this. These little cuties are fun and shy BUT don't be fooled with their small and adorable eyes because they have been damaging our stuff since they were born. Yet, I love them since they are the only ones who make me feel at ease especially when I'm stressed out in academics.

But, we are definitely different from each other, just like our zodiac signs, she is an Aries and I'm a Cancer. She is also an introverted person and loves to play and take care of dogs. We are not that close to each other but I am thankful that I got to have a sister like her since even though we are not that affectionate, we spent time, appreciating, and helping one another.

He sacrificed so much in his life and I felt guilty since there were times when I was a bad daughter to him. Being kind and generous to people, even though others intend to abuse his kindness. He never thinks of the bad side but only cherish those positive moments in his life.

The one that I've been waiting to share with you guys. During my academic journey, when I came back here in to the Philippines to continue my studies, I was curious about those academic excellence award thingy since there are no such things as that in Japan. I even consider myself as slow and unintelligent especially in math. So, I strive myself when there are quizzes or performance tasks to pass on and then wait to receive my score. If my score is good or even exceptional then I will keep it up but if it's not, then I will strive even more like studying hard to ace an upcoming quiz. Then, when I received THAT certificate I saw my family how happy they are for me and very proud to have an achiever daughter or relative. That's when I realized that I am nobody without acads and I should strive for myself no matter what.

And it came to my realization that GSP was really a big help for me to have knowledge in survival skills and develop my leadership skills. I met a lot of friends throughout my journey as a Girl Scout and I would also like to express my gratitude to the people (my mentors and grandmother) who believe in pursuing my GSP journey.

Okay, now this one is basically not planned because my first notion in photojournalism is just taking pictures and that's it. So, I joined thinking this was just an easy task and when there were events in the school I would just take a picture, pick the superior shot that I've taken and send it. However, when photojournalism was thoroughly explained, I really wanted to quit since grammar is one of my weaknesses in writing and sometimes my ideas are not properly organized. Despite that, I continued and tried to improve my writing, especially in making a caption in that particular shot. When suddenly, our club mentor pointed me out to represent our school in photojournalism solo category. I was nervous since this is my first ever journalism competition that I have joined and I knew that my competitors are strong and been a participant for a long time. But, I trained myself over and over again to have improvements in my output. In the end, I got a chance to met those talented writers from different schools in Davao City really showcased their talents in that competition, that memory will always be special to me.

My senior tapped me out to join in their partylist because they were missing a participant in running for grade 10 rep. So I joined and didn't expect anything since I knew that I was not gonna win BUT the day when the results came, I was stunned. I was officially elected and now I got to meet such amazing people who help me improve my leadership skills, and those are my SSLG family.
