I noticed this sentence because she only used three words, but it expressed something so VAST and unending. She also made this the first sentence of a SUPER SHORT paragraph, so I know she did this on purpose to make sure the reader slowed down and paid attention to how it felt to her when time took forever and she had nothing to do and no one to connect with. I think it was a brilliant way to make her point. Though I am to steal this, I will not be using it in the way it has been used. The way this has been used is in the sense of 'Would I listen to my parent'. It stands out to me mostly because it makes me realize how we view things. I notice that the Author know them self. What I mean is the Author said this  'I wished he had spoken to me first and given me the chance to make decisions with them' and then said this "Would I have listened otherwise?".

I like this sentence because it feels brave and like they're fighting back. its interesting because I don't think I've heard that sentence in a text before.

When i think about it, its true. I spend so much time using the internet, in my room while time just passes by and i don't realize there are many other things i could be doing.
