"Time felt infinite."

I noticed this sentence because she only used three words, but it expressed something so VAST and unending. She also made this the first sentence of a SUPER SHORT paragraph, so I know she did this on purpose to make sure the reader slowed down and paid attention to how it felt to her when time took forever and she had nothing to do and no one to connect with. I think it was a brilliant way to make her point. I think I will DEFINITELY use a short sentence or a really short paragraph to emphasize an important idea.

The way this has been used is in the sense of 'Would I listen to my parent'. It stands out to me mostly because it makes me realize how we view things. I notice that the Author know them self. What I mean is the Author said this 'I wished he had spoken to me first and given me the chance to make decisions with them' and then said this "Would I have listened otherwise?".
I'll use the stolen quote for music related purposes.

The author is quite relatable the statement"i tried the neighbors' wifi but it was password protected" i would do the same in that scenario like i said in chat"walk to my neighbors house in shame asking them whats the wifi password rinse and repeat till i get the wifi at someones house" there is alot of common interest young writers and young readers have and thats something that sparks interest in my own writing and on my perception of life but this isnt a philosophical tedtalk so i'll address the elephant in the room (haha transition words) the wifi/internet my take on it is that if we have something we should use it to too its fullest if we have wood we should set a campfire and build tools and houses if we have water we should drink it and save some for later uses so why don't we use internet in the same way turning off the internet would in the same way be turning off over 2000 years of work and the ability to creatively think on a social platform.

"Despite the lessons I learned from this experience, a part of me wishes that my dad had taken a different approach in encouraging us to spend more time as a family." I really liked this sentence because of the way they rethink of the beginning and the outcome.

"Later that evening I sneaked downstairs with my 8-year-old brother to switch the router back on. But it was being heavily guarded"
I liked it because of how she had a good description and had a great sense in action.

It was interesting how the author had a sense of entitlement towards having internet access. If my child were to give me a hard time over something I payed for, I'll just drop em off in the woods for the weekend.
