In my Kindergarten Field Experience classroom, I chose to teach a lesson on how the changing seasons affect us over time. In my lesson, I began by reading a story that provided background information on why the seasons change, as well as key features and characteristics of each season. Next, the students and I developed a list of things we think of when we hear each season, such as holidays, weather, or activities. The last activity the students completed was a graphic organizer where the students got to draw three pictures of their choice to represent the four seasons. Students were given the opportunity in the end to share their drawings with the class and discuss their favorite things about the seasons.

Great job filling out each of the boxes for the seasons. I liked that you even used different colors for some drawings, like a yellow sun, and an orange pumpkin. In the future, think about what each drawing is and try to line up the colors to match. Also remember to not scribble scrabble as it can be hard to view the picture sometimes. Great job using what you know to help you draw though. In the future, if you need any assistance with drawing ask the teacher and we can help!

Great job providing different examples of what the seasons remind you of. The colors you chose match your pictures, well done. Do you think you could come up with a few more examples to fill out the chart? If you get stuck, think about certain weather, activities, food, or activities you might do during each of the seasons! You can also think of personal examples to help you out. I think you have very nice ideas, and I can't wait to see what else you come up with.

Well done thinking about what each season reminds you of. Your drawings are clear and portray accurate examples of each season. I think moving forward, use a color pencil or crayon to finish your drawings in order to enhance them. You will be able to show more of the characteristics of each season if you show their color! What is one more thing you could draw for Spring? Think about the weather you may find if you need any ideas
