today was the big day! I was super exited and nervous for this mission. I would be going up to test the affect of weightlessness on the metal and physical state. Right before I was about to launch, I took in a quick look around earth, my home planet. And then I was shot upward with about the g force of 3. it was incredible and a really neat experience! After a while I had finally settled down and the view of space was simply a beautiful sight. Just a day later, Vostok 4 launched and I took place in the first time two manned flights were in space, how crazy is that! It was overall an incredible experience and I returned home safely. This mission will definitely be the longest which is why I'm so hyped to go. I was with my buddy Sevastyanov and he was incredibly exited too! as we were strapped in and ready to go, I couldn't contain my joy and excitement. Sevastyanov started getting annoyed and gave me a little clonk on the head. After I calmed down and and we were go, we finally launched. I forgot about the immense rush of adrenaline that it was and I was all there for it!! we were up in space for about 18 days and it was fun but it started to make me a little homesick. Well at least the food was better than last time! Me and my pal were told to follow a workout routine so we wouldn't be all discombobulated when we returned back to earth. But we were sooo caught up in other things that we couldn't get to it most of the time, boy I regretted that! when we returned home, we could barely stand up and it took days to get back to normal. this was definitely one of the happiest days of my life. I was getting married to a fellow cosmonaut! it was very exiting and i am incredibly happy. she would later go on to be the very first woman in space. this occurrence was definitely a far greater achievement then any of my missions.
