In this touchcast tutorial they show us how to use the whiteboard. The whiteboard have five main instruments (pen, eraser, arrow, text and rectangle). Once you have choose one instrument you can change the color and the width. You can also select the surface of your whiteboard and in case you do not like what you have done you have and undo option or you just can save and clear the board, if you choose this last option the board would be clean but the app would save your last changes in case you want to go back. When you finish with your whiteboard you can export it as a vapp.

This video shows us how to use the teleprompter, instrument that allows us reading our script while we are recording. You have to access the teleprompter and you put there your script. It is important to read the things that are close to the white line, if you don´t do this it would be clear that you are reading. You can change the speed of the teleprompter to be more comfortable while reading.

This videos shows how to add a touchcast into another touchcast. Firstly you have to add a vapp so you go to TC, then you can choose between a channel, a description, a tag or a title. With this you can add a touchcast into your other touchcast video. You can add audio and if you press the blue button you can: add title, change the opacity and pause playback. Then you can choose when the video comes in and when it comes out.

This touchcast video shows how to use the green screen. I have learned how to change clothes and colours. Firstly you have to lock the brightness to localize the people and then you can choose a background. Yoou can also change clothes in the same way.
there is also an option to put a little video in one of the sides or a photo.

There are a lot of vapps, one type of vapp is adding images. To add images you go to the  image button and your gallery will be opened, then you chose an image and you add it to your touchcast video.

Once you have chosen the video you paste it and wait for it to upload. Then the video will be upload into your touchcast video. The video can be edited by changing the size and put it with or without volume.

You can also work with dropbox. So you go to the dropbox icon and you will see the items locate by touchcast. You pic any of this folders and bring it in to your touchcast video. You can also edit it by changing the size. The vapps options are: add a title or a link and change the opacity.

In this tutorial i have learned how to put a pdf inside one of our touchcast videos. It is very simple, as you only have to look for the pdf and click on it to import it in the video. The pdf can be one that you just have in your ipad or it can also be a pdf imported from the internet, and i that case you just have to copy paste the URL of the webpage and the pdf will be imported.

This tutorial is about how to add a web to our touchcast. Firstly we have to click on add vApp and then on web page. After that click “go” once we have selected the web then we hit create vApp and we simply have to continue doing this has many times as we want to create our web site.

This video explains how to use projects in tocuhcast. you have got to line up all you elements in your project, then you save the project as a new project. Then you have to put a name to your project and add it to the touchcast. If you want to edit it you just have to do it and the click on save changes.

 

Secondly, the aspects in which the Project can improve are that maybe it was a little bit long for the hole year, it would be better  if we do it only in a therm or maybe in two and make it a liitle bit shorter. An other aspect is the padlet idea in which from my point of view was not the best thing because it was very repetitive and also writing what we were doing each day, which sometimes in some clases we did not do anything because we do not have anything to do because we were finished with that phase.

A good point was the touchcast becuase it has a lot of backgrounds and small things to choose that makes the Project more real. Also the Green screen which a have never used before was a great experience, maybe watching the tutorials of the touchcast was a little bit tedious and boring because what we learned there we could have also learned by ourselfs and we have avoided that phase.

In general  the idea was imaginative and good but maybe not for the curse of secod of bachillerato, because probably we are more focus on studing other clases such as maths or history and we do not give the attention require for that kind of project  and finally the padlet part I think that we can skip it and make it in an interactive by presenting waht we have done every 3 weeks or something like that.

I like the concept of the class group, I think that it is more dynamic and that all of us together can produce a better result than if we make a lot of different projects. Also I like the original fact of using a green screen, it makes you feel like a real TV reporter.

For me, the negative aspects of the project were that the duty of writing everything at the padlet was boring and repetitive, that we wasted a lot of time with the padlets, without leaving time for the important thing, recording.

Definitely, I think that the initial idea is really interesting and good but this year we haven't take advantage of it. It is true that this last year is complicated but I think that the project with a better planification could be really successful and enjoyable.
