Those are a few words that you can use to talk about this project. It has been a great journey! At the beginning, everything was new: the platform, IT tools, the tasks, the partners... There was so much going on, so much to learn, our Twinspace was so alive that it was tough to keep up. But little by little we got the hang of it and the fun began!
I would say that my students have enjoyed every bit of it. They were thrilled about the idea of sharing their videos and poems with so many different kids. The postcrossing tasks - both preparing their cards and receiving our partners' parcels - and the collaborative story have probably been their favourite.
Sometimes, it has been overwhelming because the tasks piled up. Good ideas kept coming up and there was not enough time for everything. However, some students always rose to the challenge. Good for them! As a neophyte in eTwinning, I was a bit scared of all those tasks we had to accomplish. I was also worried that I wouldn’t be able to rise to the challenge but the excellent guidance that Geneviève, our coordinator, provided together with the useful tips, great ideas and encouraging comments from all the partners, made it possible. I can positively say that I have grown up as a teacher and as a person. Also, I feel very proud of how much I have learned about educational technology. So many tools I can use to make my lessons more dynamic!
It has been a pleasure to be part of this, thank you!
Lourdes Ruiz

From Zaina Smare , Morocco . A wonderful journey!Enjoyable, fruitful and amazing are all the projects we conducted together. Poetry projects, collaborative story writing, post cards exchange, poets biographies and contests of the best logo , cover story, title...etc all allowed students great chances to show their artistic talents and develop thier writing skills. Also, having different countries from different continents and cultures working on the same projects allowed students to appreciate differences, enjoy reading creative ideas and seeing things from other perspectives. It was a wonderful and beautiful journey that my students and I enjoyed a lot. Thank you all for your commitment, hardwork and collaboration.Best regards from MoroccoZaina smare

Dear partners, what a journey the whole year round! This was an EXCELLENT organized project from the very first day, where all teachers had collaborated in scheduling and knew the way we would teach what was scheduled and also the timing; there was here the most amazed coordination (Genevieve you were the "clock" that we all needed with your emails, twinmails and posts in teachers bulletin, keeping us in the "right way" "by the book", informing us what was going on and creating constant chances of interaction). I am very proud to be partner in this very demanding project, that my ICT class with meetings once a week could not have managed without my fellow teacher's in English class, Adamadia's collaboration. Our students have enjoyed very much this bilateral collaboration at school though they were surprised in the beginning and also were very excited about working together with students from east (Korea) to the west (Texas) and from North (Sweden) to the South(Morocco). Of coiurse letters and postal exchanges was what they loved most but working on the story and on poems presentation also was very rewarding because of the feedback they had from the partners.
Personally, feeling absolutely lucky to be among hard working, creative teachers that had shared practices so that the collaboration among our students to be smooth and productive i need to say a huge THANK YOU to all of you, great ladies!

Not only my students, but also me , we have learned so much from you this year, not only about poetry and collaborative writing but also about ICT tools though this was supposed to be my specialty.

And for the following year...I am ready to follow the gang in any new adventure...i am quite sure our founders have already some ideas and for sure through emails ( :) i will miss our emails during summer) or through a LIVE (adobe) teachers meeting we can prepare what we will do next.

A BIG HUG to all!
THANK YOU!!!!!

(Athanasia Zafeiropoulou)
