Atomic bombs dropped on the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki let to Japan's unconditional surrender and brought an end to World War II. HIROSHIMA: The heat and the blast pulverized everything near it, generating fires that burned 4.4 square miles out, killing approximately 70,000 people. NAGASAKI: Devastated 1.8 square miles and killed 40,000 people.

During world war II, the Nazi Germany targeted Jew population to murder, but this grew into complete extermination, known as Hitler's "Final solution". From numerous massacres to concentration camps, which were utterly dehumanizing. These camps included crematoriums, gas chambers, diseases, graves, etc. More than 10 million people died, including 6 million Jews (2/3 of European Jews population).
