The most important part of management to me is teamwork. In a complete system, the team is the most important. The members of the team share their ideas with others in the team to inspire other members of the team. The second point is planning. Planning is important. Both individuals and teams must first design a complete plan. The plan can make the goal clearer. For me personally, teamwork is my weakest aspect. I often insist on my own opinions and cannot accept other people's ideas. Planning is my strong point. My habit is to make the most perfect plan before doing everything so that I won't get lost in practice.

My favourite is Theory X/Theory Y. This theory can formulate exclusive work plans for employees according to their personal characteristics and habits. For example, let employees consciously arrange their time and work smoothly, but they are not serious about their work. Of employees implement mandatory task arrangements to allow them to complete the scheduled work within the specified time. This theory is very user-friendly and can bring the work efficiency of different people to the highest level. It is very suitable for managers in the workplace.

Globalization has explored many aspects, and it has brought many development opportunities to the human world. For example, China is a big beneficiary of globalization. China has a large population. Many foreign companies have opened OEM factories in China to achieve high-speed production and have greatly improved China's economic level. At present, the import and export trade of various countries is also a major source of economic income. Globalization still has a lot of room for exploration. If every country makes good use of globalization, then both the economy and industry will be greatly improved.

For me, a good experience is not how high a degree is, but a clear understanding of the personality of each employee and the way you need to work. Using these aspects to make my management work will definitely be recognized by the employees and improve the work level. In the workplace, managers are not just employees’ superiors, but can also be friends. Learn more about the needs of employees from their living habits and experiences and designate their exclusive management plan. A good manager will definitely be loved by employees, rather than a harsh reflection of his superiors on his subordinates.

Presentation skills are very important because they can better allow the audience to understand the main point of our content, and people with superb skills can often immerse readers in the topic and let them see the problem from their own point of view. And if the presentation loses its skills, it will become boring, making the audience unable to concentrate and focus on the subject. In the future, I will mainly use the skills I have learned in speeches. For example, I can adapt the boring data into interesting information, and let the audience answer questions or group discussions to ensure that they can focus on my topic.

Week8 Making Decisions as a Manager

I have always been eager to own my own business. In 2020, I opened a milk tea shop of my own, but most of the shops in China were forced to close due to COVID-19. And I closed the store business at the most suitable time and started to sell food in the form of takeaway. This decision also allowed me to minimize the loss during the COVID-19 period. A correct decision will make a huge difference in future development, and I attach great importance to every decision in life. Normally, I plan for the worst outcome, and it is easy to accept when a bad situation happens. As a manager, every decision is very important. Every decision I make will change the event or the situation of some people. In management, it is mainly necessary to use reflective thinking to make decisions. First of all, we must clarify the goal. Only after the goal is clear can we understand our mission more directly and efficiently. The second is to integrate information, which will help us realize what information is useful. Next is the operational information. After integrating the information, we can use the information to achieve our goals. This will allow me to better understand the current situation and make decisions. The fourth is to consider the consequences, consider the various results before doing everything, and plan for the worst results so that even if the worst happens, it will be easier to accept and know how to escape the predicament. The last thing is to understand other points of view. When you understand the other's point of view, you can make yourself more clear about why you are in your current situation. For me, using these five key points when making decisions will make the most satisfying decision.

I like McClelland's acquired needs theory the most. It clearly states that needs are composed of three major parts: achievement, affiliation and power, and these three parts can be motivated by different needs, such as the need for achievement, then this person is motivated by success or goal So as to develop ourselves in a challenging environment and strive to achieve our goals. This kind of targeted motivation allows different people to have the motivation to improve themselves to achieve their goals.

The ability to communicate is extremely important in both life and work. The beauty of language that can be used in life allows one to have more friends. And in work, you can use language to achieve your own goals. I learned five languages: Korean, Japanese, English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. The rational use of these five languages can bring me a lot of benefits. I am studying in Australia, where students come from all over the world and everyone has different cultural backgrounds. My language learning allows me to integrate into them more quickly, and can bring them familiarity with other people's native language, and inaccurate pronunciation can also occasionally bring a little fun to others. So I think it is a wise choice to learn how to speak and language appropriately in terms of communication.

My score is 62，the interpretation is You're a solid team member working well as part of an effective team. Lower scores in this range show that there is room for improvement, though. Read the following summaries of key teamwork functions and determine which of the tools will help you become a better team player and build a stronger team. I agree with this interpretation very much. I think my group is already a perfect one. We understand each other's advantages and disadvantages and can help each other. We often communicate to make the group activities smoother and more successful. As a team member, my strong point is to communicate with the team and make use of everyone's advantages to compensate for the shortcomings of the team. Besides, I know how to plan well, and I can make perfect plans for the team, so that each team member has clear goals and processes to complete the task. My weakness is that I am not easy to accept other people's opinions. I am very stubborn and like to stick to my own views. I think my views are more correct than listening to others' opinions in the group. If you want to improve your team skills, you must first learn to listen to other people's ideas and try to understand them. For example, every member of my team has different opinions, so we can try to listen to each different opinion, and then all the members will vote to decide which one is the most appropriate. If you want to improve your team skills, the most important thing is to learn to listen to others.
