We were waiting to see the premiere of Harry Potter and The Dealthy Hollows Part 2 in theaters! I remember I was so excited because it was the first time I was seeing a movie at midnight! It also was rare for my sister and I to get along since we are 9 years apart and I remember we had a great day. I chose this picture because fantasy worlds were a large part of my middle school life and that all stemmed from my sister introducing me to Harry Potter. I also found this picture to be quintessential adolescent from my braces, to my messy hair, to dressing up in a costume to see a movie. This image also ties back to examples from the reading considering the contrast between my appearance and the activity. Middle schoolers want to feel older by doing things like being out late but I did so while dressed up like a witch.
