The Glossopteris is a woody tree seed bearing tree. The Glossopteris is one of the most important fossil evidence for the continental drift theory. The Glossopteris fossils have been found in Australia, India, Antarctica, South America, and South Africa. Since the Glossopteris have been found in places separated by the ocean, the Glossopteris must have spread around using land bridges. Land bridges are bodies of land connected together that you could walk across. If there were land bridges connecting Australia, India, Antarctica, South America, and South Africa together that means they were altogether proving the continental drift theory.

Cycads are a plant that drop large seeds and are very old. They are more proof that pangea did exist, This is because they are are rather large and they sink in the water. However there are many of these plants on several other continents. As i said before they are rather heavy and very dense so the means that the wind and birds cant be part of it. In the photo above you can see a the cycads they kind of look like a pineapple but they are really very soft and for water to seep in.C. circinalis, C. rumphii and C.thouarsii, These are all types of cyades there biggest difference from other cycads is that they thrive by the coast of east africa. These might be able to float but not for very long Finally if you wanted to learn more you could go to This link.
Jack
