Students will learn how to rotate through stations during

math and use their understanding of working together from

day two while working in their stations.

Read a name book.  Talk about how the first letter is bigger than all the others.  We say this letter is capital or uppercase.  Have students find this using name plates.  Students will use a pencil and write his/her name correctly just like teacher did; one letter per block.  Practice writing five times.  Teacher will walk around and observe and make corrections as needed.

SIng song Hickelty Pickelty Bumblebee with class.  Students will choose to say, sing, etc.. with his/her name in the song.  We will then use our nameplates to practice counting the letters in our name.  Who has the most?  Who has the least?
