Germany was originally separated into hundreds of states. Eventually students of germany began to volunteer to fight for Prussia against France. During this, a German confederation was formed. The Germans had to push for the United German Constitution. Eventually war began again and they hoped to claim more land, and the germans had to divide.

The causes for this revolution were widespread poverty, social inequality, and political corruption. It was marked b a high balance of violence and instability. There were three leaders of the Italian unification. Count Camillo di Cavour, Giuseppe Garibaldi, and Giuseppe Mazzini, whose combined efforts in diplomacy, military campaigns, and nationalist ideology respectively contributed to the unification of Italy. The 1848 Revolutions were in the Italian states, and part of the wider Revolutions of 1848 in Europe. They were organized revolts in the states of the Italian peninsula and Sicily. The were led by intellectuals and agitators who desired a liberal government.

They led the revolution and remain key cultural and historical symbols in the fight for social reform. The two of them were mainly responsible for the Northern and Southern regions of the country.
