My deaf uncle attended Gallaudet University, so it was interesting to look more into where he studied.

Aspen Camp of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing

It was founded in 1967, they have 8 programs to choose from and more than 15 acres, It has hosted more than 25,000 participants

This camp really interested me, it had a lot of activities to choose from and was eye catching

Camp Juliena

There's a lot of social events, very open and out to helping all children of the deaf, they teach them all boundaries, and give them, a place to go where they won't be left out.

I chose this camp because it caught my eye, It seemed like a really open and wonderful place, and I think kids grow a lot in places like that.

Aspen Camp for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing

This camp was founded in 1967, is located on 17 acres of land and is an all year-round camp.

This camp was interesting to me because of the beautiful location. I also find Colorado very interesting.

I chose this camp because we learned about different listening devices like cochlear implants.

Camp made by Sertoma program which has helped communities for 100+ years, intergation of deaf campers + their hearing family, and has 32 acres of land.

I choose this camp because I used to live in Florida and I think the website page is unique.

Hear A Million

They collaborate with institutions like the Museum of Art & Photography (MAP). There are a limited number of seats, and a reservation is required to get in. They primarily focus on teaching their participants leadership despite their trouble hearing

India has one of the highest deaf populations in the world, but has little aid for them.

Camp Jaspel

Veľké Zlievce, Slovakia (140 kilometers away from Budapest)

This camp takes in groups of kids from all over the world, there are five meals a day, for every group of five deaf kids per country, there must be a leader who is 18 years old or older and knows international sign language well.

I chose this camp because I wanted to pick a camp in Poland but I couldn't find any so this camp in Slovakia was the next best thing

Camp Wonder Hands began in 1996, created by Marolyn W. Amick, a child Life Therapist at Prisma Health. This Camp focuses on building confidence and communication through deaf culture. And another fact about this camp is that this camp is completely free.

I picked this camp because looking through their website made me feel that there is more to a camp than just talking to each other. Their are ways to communicate beyond speaking, and you can learn how to work together and have fun. You can learn communication skills, and even more like cooking, and art, and learning about nature. But you do it all while being in a deaf community.

I chose this camp because it seems like a good camp, that could help kid's build up confidence and help them with skills.

KODA-West Camp

They are often fluent in sign language and a spoken language,often picking up signs as early as 6 months old. 2.The camp is available for deaf people and hearing people supporting the Deaf people so they can have a great time learning more words for American Sign Language. 3. They also do some fun activities for everyone in the camp.

I choose this camp because I wanna learn what they do with everyone in the camp like activities and other fun stuff they do in their free time.
