         <description><![CDATA[<p>The first Industrial Revolution started in Great Britain because of their access to coal, timber, and waterways. As well as foreign resources. The effect of industrialization on Britain was that it accelerated the trend of urbanization in the area.  Two technologies that came out of Britain from the industrial revolution were the use of steam-powered machines and the production of textiles (cotton gin). </p>]]></description>

During the period of industrialization Europe experienced a shift in their economy, going from an economy based on farming to one based on manufacturing done by machines and specialized labor. Some important technologies that came out of Europe during the Industrial Revolution were textiles, iron, and coal. </p>]]></description>

Industrialization in the United States drove the growth of U.S cities and rapidly expanded the market economy. A very technologies that were a result of the revolution were railroads and the telegraph. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>As the population grew in India the demand for goods became too large and began to industrialize. Industrialization allowed for increased income and a higher standard of living as people were not working to produce products anymore but rather using technologies to do so. Cotton textiles as well as highly effective fertilizer called guano, which could also be used in gunpowder. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Families were still forced to work after the 1810's, though money from the cotton productions allowed Egypt to start to form factories so they could benefit from their own industrialization. The industrialization changed life for most Egyptian peasants as they started to work in factories rather than focusing on growing food the whole year. They were large in cotton production and tools like the wheel and ramp. </p>]]></description>
