DY has family liaisons that speak the home languages of SLIFE students 

Remind and language line are forms of multilingual communication

Families haven’t come forward with need for transportation - communication around this should be increased - maybe brought up during the SLIFE interview?

We could offer zoom meetings for convenience… but is there internet connection at home?

Liaisons meet with families to guide them through registration process- mostly at DYM, not so much at DYI or DYRHS - needs to be more consistent among schools

The most accurate information is usually from the student themselves - although sometimes student might be too traumatized to recall information
