Teaching encompasses more than just academics. It is instilling in people a desire to learn, a hunger for information, and the development of wisdom. It's about opening people's eyes to the world's beauty and the goodness of the people who live in it. Most importantly, it is opening children's hearts to be empathetic, caring, and kind to others so that they can open their hands with passion and purpose to serve and give back to the world. This is something that money will never be able to buy. No one goes into this industry for the money, as anyone who works in it can attest. The pay isn't particularly good. We teachers have been known to dive into our own pockets for resources on occasion. Furthermore, teaching isn't easy, and our efforts are frequently overlooked. -Juzpher John V. Bituin

It's not all the time that everyone is given the chance to touch and change the lives of other people, but teachers get that chance. When an engineer makes a mistake, the building will collapse. When a pilot makes a mistake, the airplane will crash down. When a judge makes a mistake, the accused will go to jail. However, if a teacher makes an error, simply erase the blackboard, and rewrite the correct one. So, choose to become a teacher.
          When I became a teacher, I realized that erasing mistakes on the blackboard was not enough to be called an efficient and effective teacher. Choosing to become a teacher is not just to teach the students academically, but to develop them holistically in terms of various aspects of life. This is our role in our society. We have great responsibility as teachers. Furthermore, a teacher is a nation builder because we are shaping the students to become doctors, pilots, police officers, etc.
         With this, we as teachers must work with parents, the community, and stakeholders to help our students in reaching their goals.
