In the first scenario the nurse has been very blunt about how she is disapproving the First Nation's tradition of healing in the hospital, because in her mind secondary exposure to drugs for cancer patients are potentially life threatening. However, the nurse in the first scenario have not taken into account of the impact that her personal abjection to the healing tradition has on the First Nation patient, and patient family. The nurse have impaired the patient by giving them a false feeling that the hospital will not allow their healing tradition to take place, and the nurse have also massively offended the patient's family by saying that they have a lower education level if they are still using their traditional practice like in the scenario to do healing, on top of that the nurse have also implied that the patient's name and her looks makes her look like a non First Nation white person, which means that they have been taking advantage of the First Nation status.
