1.) What are your takeaways from today’s lessons? I've learned that being a teacher is not just a simple profession but the highest calling that needs full commitment, dedication, love, and passion most importantly to your student. As a future teacher and educator, everything must start with me and make this my lifestyle to become more effective and successful.

2.) How will you use the lessons today in your future career as a teacher? I think the best way is to practice what I've learned and to make this part of my everyday routine. From the moment I open my eyes in the morning, I should always think that teaching myself to do better and continuously improve in what I'm doing is the best start. I can never become a good teacher someday if I would not be able to teach and train myself in those things that I need to improve now.

Thank you Mam Nina for everything I've learned from you and from our class. Until next time.

Robert Casareno

I’ve learned that being a teacher is not an easy profession. It takes determination, love, and passion. Because whatever our behavior becomes also affects our learners. Being a teacher is such an important creature in the life of a student, who through his knowledge, patience and love give a strong shape to a student’s whole life. And as a teacher, we should always be good listeners to our students.

I want to be a teacher because I also want to teach my future students what I have learned. I will motivate them to achieve their goals and I will always be there for them to support and guide them. Because we did not choose this profession to make our students suffer but to help them.

Thank you, Ma’am Niña, for all you have taught us.

1.) What are your takeaways from today’s lessons?
- Teachers use the power of education to today’s youth, by giving them the possibility for a better future. Teachers must treat each learner with respect, honesty, kindness, and love. These character traits are essential for them to learn to become excellent individuals. One should put in mind that educating a child does not only mean making them academically excellent but also making them develop a well-rounded personality in terms of social ability, emotions, and physical attributes.

2.) How will you use the lessons today in your future career as a teacher?
- As a future educator, I will be able to provide learnings and experiences by also learning them individually. Taking into consideration individual differences will make a teacher be more understanding to his/her learners. The more he/she understands his/her learners, the more effective the teaching strategies he will be using. As the saying goes, “You Can Not Give What You Don’t Have”.

3.) As a role model for students, future teachers must follow a professional Code of Ethics. A professional code of Ethics outlines teachers’ primary responsibilities to our students. As a future educator, I will demonstrate equality, integrity, and ethical behavior in the classroom. Children learn what they see and hear from teachers and adults. However, an adult act in front of a learner, it will surely make an impression on them and make them behave and talk similarly.

Thank you very much, Ma'am Niña.This subject provided us with a wealth of knowledge and experience. We will surely use it in the future as educators.

-Shyrah M. Tallud

Not only is it important that we become experts in our chosen field of study or the subject that we want to teach, but we must also know and learn about theories that gives us an idea about the different types of development in learning, personalities, and how it gives us a blueprint of how we as teachers are going to adjust and implement our teaching styles. It gives us the importance of considering that each learner is different from one another and that it is only fair for us to give them outlets or activities for them to showcase on their own field of skills and talents.

As teachers, we must also realize that we play a very important role in their learning as facilitators. We cannot be confined in the traditional way or the way that we remember from our own experience. It is important to know that as times are evolving we must learn to adapt to the different media or resources that is available in the 20th century and apply and implement it to the mold the minds of our learners because they hold the future. While doing such, we have to keep in mind the boundaries and the set of moral standards that comes with being a teacher. Nobody is perfect but we have to try as much as possible to minimize the things that we know is not proper or appropriate to demonstrate in front of and to our young learners.

Being a teacher is not just another job that we have to do to survive. It is a responsibility that is called upon us because the future of our learners and of our country depend on it.

-Carbajal, Joshua Amadeus O.

My takeaways from this subject were being a teacher is not all about lectures and quizzes but, it's all about how will you impart positive perspectives, self-awareness, care, LOVE, and understanding to your students despite all of the negativities and hatred that happen to this world. Let us all be the reason to let them feel accepted and cared for when they can't have that feeling in their own homes. Indeed, teachers are all heroes for being there eight hours a day, nurturing and mouldings each child to become a better person in society. Let us all not be one of the reasons in a person life trying to look back and question themselves or cannot function well because of their negative experiences during their childhood. In the book Tuesdays with Morrie, he stated that "The most important thing in life is to learn how to give out love, and how to let it come in." Love is the very base of humanity, and without love, this universe cannot survive.

I am thankful that I had a background in Psychology. It helped me now as a teacher to better understand my young learners. It makes me more aware of how crucial their stage is. It helps me also to give proper interventions based on their individual needs.

- Millones, Starlite A.

1.) What are your takeaways from today’s lessons?

Learning is not just about the lessons in the classroom, but also teacher-student interactions. It’s in these interactions that a trusting relationship is built over time. When students see that their teacher has the passion, competence, and care for them, they’d also begin to enjoy learning and become productive and engaged learners. Teaching not only comes with passion but also commitment and discipline. They help shape the community one student at a time.

The theories show us future teachers how one student may struggle from something, and another student from another. We see how all these theories help explain how why a student behaves a certain way and that there are lessons that we cannot teach our students from a textbook, but these lessons must come from us. From our own example, from our experiences and from the way we handle ourselves in times of difficulty in and out of the classroom. This poses a challenge for all of us to always be kind and considerate. Most importantly that we teach and do things out of love.

2.) How will you use the lessons today in your future career as teacher?

I will use these lessons as a challenge for myself to find ways to improve in my future career as a teacher not only in the quality of teaching, but also in ways I interact with my students. These will also serve to me as an inspiration in order to encourage my students and help them be at their best in school. The theories will be used as a guide or tool to help me promote a positive and safe learning environment.

Aleeza Denise B. Sayoc
